WHAT ARE PREDATOR MITES?

"Predatory mites are a way to combat pests without using chemicals. They are insects that eat specific species of pests."

We offer predatory mites that will help combat the following pests:

• common retina (Tetranychus urticae)
• red fruit tree retina (Panonychus ulmi)
• red citrus mite (Panonynchus citri)
• tarsone mite (Polyphagotarsonemus latus)
• strawberry tick (Tarsonemus pallidus)
• young larvae of various thrips species
• whitefly eggs and larvae

"Plēsejērces can be used in greenhouses and other covered areas, as well as for houseplants."

Not effective on tomatoes, because tomato fluffy and soft leaves are not liked by predatory mites. They get stuck in the soft hairs and cannot move through the tomatoes.

HOW MANY PACKAGES ARE REQUIRED TO USE?

1 packet is intended for an area of 1-2m2, if the plant leaves touch each other, if the leaves do not touch, one packet for each plant. If there is a large invasion, then more packages are needed for the mites to cope with the pests. After a month, predatory mites should be used again if pests have been detected on the plants.

The package contains both adult ticks, larvae, and eggs, so the package works for 6 weeks. During that time, new predatory ticks gradually emerge from the package.

HOW TO USE?

The packets should be hung on the plants and allowed to let the mites work. Do not place the packets in direct sunlight. Do not tear or open the packets! The packets already have holes, and since the mites are 1 millimeter in size, that is completely enough for them to come out of the packet.

As long as the plants have predatory mites, they cannot be sprayed with chemicals; rinse the plant leaves with water and clean the plant leaves.

"Plēsejērces cannot be stored for a long time, so you need to apply them to the plants as soon as you receive the package. The maximum storage time is 1-2 days after receipt."

Pay attention to the shipping date mentioned above! Predatory mites are shipped only on specific dates when a fresh supply of them has arrived. 

‼️‼️This is a bulk order!!! I didn't grow or package the ticks myself!! As they come from Koppert, they are also sent to you. ‼️‼️

The predatory mites are packed in paper bags as soon as they arrive, put in a box and sent to you on the first working day.

If the air temperature is below +5 degrees, add a heating element so that the ticks do not freeze.
